چکیده
This paper deals with second-order optimality conditions for a quasilinear elliptic control problem nonlinear coefficient in the principal part that is countably $PC^2$ (continuous and $C^2$ apart from many points). We prove control-to-state operator continuously differentiable even though non-smooth. enables us to establish "no-gap" necessary sufficient terms of an abstract curvature functional, i. e., which condition only differs one fact inequality strict. A equivalent could be useful error estimates in, e.g., finite element discretizations also provided.

First- and Second-Order Optimality Conditions for a Class of Optimal Control Problems with Quasilinear Elliptic Equations
A class of optimal control problems for quasilinear elliptic equations is considered, where the coefficients of the elliptic differential operator depend on the state function. Firstand second-order optimality conditions are discussed for an associated control-constrained optimal control problem. Main emphasis is laid on second-order sufficient optimality conditions. To this aim, the regularity...
متن کاملNo-gap second-order optimality conditions for optimal control problems with a single state constraint and control
The paper deals with optimal control problems with only one control variable and one state constraint, of arbitrary order. We consider the case of finitely many boundary arcs and touch times. We obtain a no-gap theory of second-order conditions, allowing to characterize second-order quadratic growth.
متن کاملSufficient Second-Order Optimality Conditions for an Elliptic Optimal Control Problem with Pointwise Control-State Constraints
An optimal control problem for an semilinear elliptic equation is investigated, where pointwise constraints are given on the control and the state. The state constraints are of mixed (bottleneck) type, where associated Lagrange multipliers can assumed to be bounded and measurable functions. Based on this property, a second-order sufficient optimality condition is established that considers stro...
متن کاملSecond order optimality conditions in the smooth case and applications in optimal control
The aim of this article is to present algorithms to compute the first conjugate time along a smooth extremal curve, where the trajectory ceases to be optimal. It is based on recent theoretical developments of geometric optimal control, and the article contains a review of second order optimality conditions. The computations are related to a test of positivity of the intrinsic second order deriv...
متن کاملSecond-order Sufficient Optimality Conditions for a Semilinear Optimal Control Problem with Nonlocal Radiation Interface Conditions
We consider a control constrained optimal control problem governed by a semilinear elliptic equation with nonlocal interface conditions. These conditions occur during the modeling of diffusegray conductive-radiative heat transfer. After stating first-order necessary conditions, second-order sufficient conditions are derived that account for strongly active sets. These conditions ensure local op...
